Today was another bittersweet day at The Smile Shoppe as we said goodbye to one of our Hygienists, Sarah Margaret Loddeke. Sarah has decided to head back to school to become an accountant. Although sad to see her leave, she is taking an avenue that she has always wanted to take and for that we are overjoyed for her and her family. Thank you for all you have done for the office and our patients. We will miss you!

We’ve had a busy week at The Smile Shoppe! This week is also Office Manager Appreciation Week and we have the best one around! Kymberly Eley Rakers is the glue that holds this place together 😊. She is a great advocate for our patients and really prides herself on creating genuine connections. When you see her, let her know what an asset she is to our office!

Today was a big one for our Dental Assistant, Krisi! It is her 35 year work anniversary! Krisi assisted Dr. Tom and has been with us ever since. Her vast knowledge of her job is unlike any other. She's been at The Smile Shoppe longer than Dr. Darren. She could assist with her eyes closed (but we won't test that haha). Thank you Krisi for your dedication and hard work... we are so grateful for you and look forward to many more years 😃

Let's give a warm welcome to Joellen Vohlken! Joellen is joining Amy up front with welcoming patients, answering the phone and scheduling appointments. We are so glad she has joined The Smile Shoppe family!

It was a bittersweet day at The Smile Shoppe. We said goodbye for now to our Dana girl. Dana started with us as a co-op student in high school and has been with us ever since. We have watched her grow into the hard working, confident girl she is today and couldn't be more proud. She has helped up front, helped in the back and everything in between. Dana is going to Dental Assisting/Hygiene school and we are so happy for her! We are going to miss her so much and wish her nothing but the best!

Happy 3 years to our Tish! We love that she joined The Smile Shoppe and has brought many laughs and has built great relationships with our patients! When Leticia Dugger isn't cleaning teeth she is her son's #1 fan on the baseball and football field. Go Staunton Bulldogs!
