Have you ever noticed which side your child prefers when they chew? Just like being right or left handed, some people naturally favor one side of their mouth when eating! Using both sides helps distribute the work of chewing, but having a preferred side isn’t necessarily a problem. Canker sores may be small, but they can be pretty uncomfortable! These little sores can appear inside the lips, cheeks, or elsewhere in the mouth and usually heal on their own. If your child has a sore that isn't healing, keeps coming back, or is making it difficult to eat or drink, give us a call so we can take a look!
