Happy Thanksgivng! Our office will be closed Thursday, Nov. 26th & Friday Nov. 27th for Thanksgiving. We will be back at 8 am on Monday Nov. 30th. We hope you all have a great Holiday!

We are currently still operating with reduced hours and seeing patients with dental emergencies and necessary dental work only. If you are unsure if your dental issue is necessary at this time please call or message and we would be happy to discuss your options and make you an appointment at the appropriate time. Currently our hours are Tuesdays and Fridays from 8 am - 5 pm (closed for lunch from 1-2pm).

Just remember to take time each day to look around and think of a few things your happy/thankful for , we all have to remember to try and stay positive during this time. We look forward to seeing all our patients and getting back to our normal schedule as soon as we can! We hope you all are staying safe, happy, and healthy!

Due to COVID-19 government recommendations and restrictions our office, will be suspending normal hours and non-emergency procedures until March 30th.
Emergency Services will be provided on Friday March 20th and other days as needed. Please call ahead or text 828-256-7958 to schedule your Emergency Appointment. Please do not show up without an appointment we will work with you to schedule your emergency appointment ASAP. If you are unsure if your dental issue qualifies as an emergency, please call and we will discuss your symptoms and if treatment should be scheduled during the time.

Dr. Clay has joined forces with Forward Science, the manufacturer of OralID™, and became a provider of the ID For Life™ Program to promote early detection and public awareness of oral cancer in the office. Dr. George W. Clay III, DDS Family Dentistry will be offering enhanced oral cancer screenings during scheduled appointments to new and current patients.

OralID® uses a proven, optically based technology called,
"fluorescencetechnology." OralID® fluorescence technology uses a blue light (435–460 nm) that provides the
clinician an aid in visualization of oral mucosal abnormalities, such as oral cancer and pre-cancer.
*Simply put healthy tissues show up green and reflects light back when using the OralID® technology, damaged and compromised tissues look darker and do not reflect the same as healthy normal tissue. This allows us to detect abnormalities that would not be visible to the naked eye until the tissue is severly compromised.
