"We had an ‘America the Beautiful’ summer vacation out West. It included 7 states, 4 National Parks, 3 National Monuments, 1 State Park, 3000 air miles, and 2200 driving miles...

We started in Utah, then Idaho, and then into Grand Teton National Park. Our 2nd stop was the incredible Yellowstone National Park for several days. We took a day trip into Montana before driving across Wyoming to visit Devil’s Tower National Monument. Our 3rd stop was Mount Rushmore, and then on to Custer State Park in South Dakota. For the 4th area, we continued into Wind Cave National Park and Badlands National Park. We finished up by driving through Nebraska and onto Colorado."
