💙 Please join us in welcoming Dr. Rodney Martin to Hickory Heights Dental! 💙

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Rodney Martin to our team! As a maxillofacial prosthodontist, Dr. Martin brings advanced training in restoring and replacing teeth, dental implants, smile rehabilitation, and complex restorative care. Before beginning his career in dentistry, he graduated from West Point and served as a U.S. Army infantry officer. He later earned his dental degree from the Dental College of Georgia and continued his military service with the U.S. Navy before completing advanced prosthodontic residency training in Bethesda, Maryland.

Dr. Martin loves solving problems and combining science, technology, and creativity to help restore his patients’ smiles, function, and confidence. He’s especially passionate about using modern technology to provide practical, patient-focused care, and we’re excited about the expertise his specialty will bring to our practice and the greater Hickory community.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Martin enjoys cooking, golf, and pickleball and considers himself a “collector of hobbies.” He and his wife, Katie, have been married for 12 years and are currently learning to play golf together! We’re so happy to have him joining our team and can’t wait for you to meet him. Welcome to Hickory Heights Dental, Dr. Martin! 🦷💙

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of Jennifer, our incredible office manager. For 36 years, she has been a true legend — serving as the welcoming face, the leader, and the absolute heartbeat of our dental practice.

Jennifer is the most loyal and trustworthy person we know. From the exact moment you walked through our door, she worked diligently every single day to ensure you were fully taken care of, making every patient feel like family.
Her dedication and leadership have truly set the standard for our office.

While she will be missed beyond measure by both our patients and our entire staff, we are thrilled for her next adventure. Jennifer is looking forward to stepping into a well-deserved new chapter spent traveling with friends and enjoying quality time with her husband and three grandchildren.

Our amazing ladies recently spent some time away from the office at Wolf Moon Salt Cave for a team outing focused on relaxation and connection.

We’re so grateful for this incredible team and the care they show our patients every day. Taking time together outside the office is just one small way to invest in our people and our culture.
