Happy National Dog Day πΎ
Don't forget to help keep your canine companions' "canines" healthy too!
Dogs can benefit from having their teeth brushed just as much as humans. Dental disease is prevalent among dogs because we tend to overlook that as an issue for our fur friends. Also, since the primary sign of early dental disease is bad breath, we simply think it's normal for dogs. Periodontal disease can cause serious health issues for dogs and humans alike. If untreated, it may lead to tooth loss, painful abscesses and systemic infections throughout the entire body, jaw pain and even heart disease, among other health concerns.
Let's keep our teeth and our dogs' teeth healthy and strong by brushing regularly! You may even want to consider professional dental cleanings with a vet for your four legged friend. Dogs may also benefit from tooth wipes, dental treats, or dog chews... When your dog smiles you smile! πΆπ¦·β€
