thankful thankful thankful for getting to share my days with these amazing people! I say this often…I know I don’t post as much as I should, and I could do better with the whole social media thing, but my excuse is that we really are too busy having fun, enjoying what we do, and focusing on being the best for our patients. Looking back on some of these exciting moments in the office makes me smile and makes me appreciate what I do so much. 💙🥰

Also, in one pic, my oldest daughter (Cammie 🐾) is sitting outside of the xray room while I take my daughter’s first pano. 🥺 I really think I was wiping some tears. Not fair how quickly they grow up.

meet Susie, our talented, kind-hearted clinical assistant! 👋🏼

Born in El Salvador, she moved to the United States with her mom and two sisters, settling in Virginia at 16. After high school, she wasn’t sure what she wanted to do, so she picked up a job at a Thai restaurant, where she worked for 4 years. Eventually, she decided to return to school and enrolled in a dental assistant program in Chesterfield. She always knew she wanted to be able to educate people about their oral health.

She has been in the dental field since 2015, gaining experience in front desk operations, back office work, and assisting. In 2019, she was introduced to orthodontic care and immediately felt like she had found the perfect fit.

Becoming a mother to Naomi (15), Enrique (9), and Calvin (7) has been her greatest joy—her kids are her motivation and inspiration to keep pursuing her dreams. She loves being a sports mom, cheering on her kids in their activities, and supporting them in everything they do.

Beyond her career, she cherishes spending quality time with her kids and family, and her favorite tradition is visiting the Outer Banks (OBX) every summer. They are foodies who love trying new places in the city or having a nice picnic at a downtown park. She also has a deep love for journaling and writing, using words to reflect, express, and inspire others. 🩷

it’s been an interesting start to 2025 with weather, water, and lots of days off of school, but we still have a lot to be thankful for, like these amazing smiles and patients…and honestly, those challenges make us even more appreciative of the day-to-day things that we sometimes take for granted. But also…February is right around the corner! 🙌🏼💕 And a very happy belated birthday to our incredible scheduling coordinator Nicole!!! Thanks for all you do! Feels like you’ve been with us forever and not sure what we’d do without your kindness and attention to detail! 🎉 Happy almost weekend everyone!

Can’t fully convey how appreciative I am of this team and how much they care for our patients, each other, and me. I feel so blessed to get to do what I do every day. Pretty amazing to look back on all the patients who have come into our lives this year and how much joy and laughter they have brought us, and hopefully we have done the same for you.
