Laurel Park Dentistry is led by Dr. Johanna M. Lopez, DDS, Alexander P. Jiamachello, DDS and an experienced team of hygienists, dental assistants and office staff. Dr. Johanna Lopez graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry and attended the Mountain Area Health Care Education Center general practice residency program. She has practiced dentistry in Western NC and is proud

to call Laurel Park Dentistry her dental home. Alex Jiamachello (Dr. J) Was born in Chapel Hill, NC and grew up in Shelby, NC. He went to NC State University where he majored in Biological Sciences, and minored in Genetics. He then worked for a couple years as a dental assistant prior to completing a year of masters of public health at East Carolina University. He was accepted into the UNC dental program and achieved his DDS degree in 2014.

💐 Early Mother’s Day Celebration at Laurel Park Dentistry 💐

Today, we celebrated the amazing Moms and Mimis on our team a little early! ❤️

Each of our wonderful mothers received a special gift box filled with goodies including Mommin’ hats, champagne, lip gloss, necklaces, Vitamin C serum, chocolates, and of course… Sour Patch Kids 🍬😉😩

As your dental team, we HAVE to remind everyone: Sour candy may be delicious, but it’s also very acidic and tough on your teeth!!! Be sure to brush after enjoying candy and rinse with water to help protect your smile.

We are so thankful for all the Mothers in our office and everywhere who give so much love, care, and support every single day.
