Eastern Alloys is looking for a experienced maintenance technicians with skills in some of the following areas: maintenance and repair of production/process equipment, 480-volt systems, welding, electronic troubleshoot, hydraulic, compressed air, water distribution and power distribution. Responsibilities
- Electrical preventive maintenance on all equipment; repair and/ or clean equipment
-Installation of new equipment and/ or modify existing equipment
-Upgrading plant mechanical and electrical systems where necessary
-Maintaining all safety systems on equipment
-Maintaining equipment and electrical spare parts and ordering necessary equipment/ parts for installations
Job Requirements
-Mechanical or electronic background helpful
- Welding Skills a plus
-Electrical and Electronic troubleshooting a plus
-Performs routine PM’s, repairs, rebuilds and modifies equipment assigned and to include electrically controlled equipment
-Performs upgrades and/ or changes to equipment if needed
-Ability to work overtime
-Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, fractions and decimals
-Ability to stand duration of shift
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, or move 100 with lifting equipment or assistance
-Be on call for major shut downs
-Ability to work alone or assist others if necessary
-Team Player
