We are SO proud of this girl! 🙌 She competed in the Queen of the South Bay Surf Contest and took 2nd place in her division, which is honestly amazing. She crushed it out there! 👏👏👏

Dr. Turley was out there cheering her on the whole time because that's just what we do, we show up for our patients however we can. Watching her ride those waves and walk away with a podium finish made our whole week. ❤️

But leaving your aligners or retainers in a hot car is one of the easiest ways to wreck them. 🚫🚗 Heat warps plastic. 🔥 And a warped aligner does not just stop working, it can actually shift your teeth in the wrong direction. A few minutes in a hot car can undo weeks of progress. 😬

We are SO proud of Dr. Turley! Not only did she donate to the Queen of the South Bay Surf Contest and host a table at the event, she actually got out there and competed. And won first place in the women’s competition. 🏄‍♀️🥇

This is just the kind of person she is. She shows up, gives back and apparently surfs better than the rest of us too! 🤙
