Sugar Bugs aren’t real little creatures hiding in your mouth, but they’re a fun way to talk about the real bacteria that live there! 🐛🦷

These tiny bacteria love Halloween because they love sugar just as much as we do. When they find leftover sugar on teeth, they can create acids that weaken enamel and contribute to cavities. 😣

Apple season is here, but biting into a fresh one isn't always braces friendly. Good news, we've got a recipe that lets you enjoy all that flavor without the risk. Just blend up the following and you've got an apple pie smoothie that's smooth on your braces and big on flavor.🍎🥤

• 2 apples diced and frozen
• 1 cup greek yogurt plain or vanilla
• 2/3 cup milk of choice
• 1/3 cup rolled oats
• 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
