As we celebrate the 249th birthday of the United States of America, our team at Cape Pediatric & Family Dentistry extends our warmest wishes to you and your families. This is a time to celebrate our freedoms, cherish our loved ones, and honor the sacrifices of those who have shaped our great nation.

In observance of Independence Day, our office will be closed on July 4th, 5th and 6th. We will reopen on Monday, July 7th, to continue providing you with the highest quality dental care.

We encourage you to enjoy this special time with family and friends, whether you're attending a parade, hosting a barbecue, or simply relaxing at home. Remember to take care of your oral health amidst the festivities!

I am getting on my bike to Ride For Homes, Habitat of Cape Cod, Sunday, September 17th. We are raising funds to build homes for people who otherwise could not afford one of their own. This story comes from a recent Harwich homebuyer, Heather, who shares her gratitude: “I’m beyond grateful to have been given this opportunity to become a homeowner. It’s been a long-time dream but always felt so out of reach. I’m very excited to be able to be a part of the process of building our forever home. This whole experience is a dream come true.”

Independence Day, often referred to as America’s birthday, is a celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. The Fourth of July is celebrated with parades, picnics, concerts and of course fireworks. From sparklers in the driveway to professional aerial shows, fireworks light up the night across the nation. One of the best shows is in Boston on the Esplanade at the Half Shell. The Boston Pops star along with other entertainers. The concert starts at 8:00pm, then the fireworks spectacular at 10:30pm. It draws huge crowds & you have to get there early (gates open at Noon) to get in. This is broadcast on Channel 4 WBZ starting at 8:00PM.
