Did you know not all fillings are the same? 🦷

When we say you need a “filling,” that can actually mean a few different things.

A filling might involve just one surface of the tooth, or it may wrap around and involve two, three, or even more surfaces.

Think of your tooth like a tiny 3D object. What looks like one little spot can sometimes extend onto another side of the tooth that you can't see.

So when you hear us say “one-surface,” “two-surface,” or “three-surface” filling, that's what we're talking about!
