A bittersweet week at KC Family Dental! 💙🦷

This week we celebrated two very special team members.

First, we’re so excited to welcome Jess back after her 12-week maternity leave! ❤️ During her time away, she enjoyed every precious moment with her beautiful new baby girl, Lainey May, while also making special memories with her 2-year-old daughter, Hadley. We are so happy she had that time with her growing family, and we’re thrilled to have her smiling face back at KC Family Dental!

At the same time, we’re saying goodbye to Rylee. While we’re certainly sad to see her leave, we’re incredibly excited for the next chapter in her life. Rylee is getting married on August 22 and will soon be moving up north with her husband to begin this new adventure together. 💍❤️

We can’t thank Rylee enough for stepping in and helping our office during Jess’s maternity leave. She was a wonderful addition to our team, and it was especially meaningful that she had the opportunity to work alongside her mom, Michele. We are so grateful for everything she did for our patients and our team.

Please join us in welcoming Jess back and wishing Rylee all the happiness in the world as she begins this exciting new journey. We know she’ll do amazing things, and she’ll always have a place in the KC Family Dental family.

🎓🦷 Celebrating Our Amazing Dental Intern! 🦷🎓

We are so proud of our high school dental intern Annie Rhoney as she prepares to graduate and take the next exciting steps in her journey! It has been such a pleasure having her in our office, and we’ve loved watching her dedication, curiosity, and passion for dentistry grow.

This fall, she will attend UMKC, where she plans to pursue a pre-dental biology degree, followed by UMKC School of Dentistry with the goal of becoming a dentist and eventually owning her own practice.

We have no doubt she has a bright future ahead and will make an incredible dentist one day. Congratulations on your graduation, and best of luck as you chase your dreams—we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way! 💙✨

Best dentist office hands down - by Ivy A.

It has taken me years to find a friendly no guilt dentist. I have the same dental hygienist each visit. I am amazed at how caring she is taking time to listen and understand my various needs and encouraging and sweet realizing that I have a lot of personal struggles right now. I have brought in my parents, my brother that is disabled and myself, and I have yet to find a better dentist. These people are genuinely caring, small town folks who will go out of their way to be personal and professional I think we found our forever Dentist team, which will make a huge impact on our dental health going forward.
On a side note the dentist discovered i had enlarged lymph nodes and i was later diagnosed with cancer… spot on team
