Our thoughts and prayers are with the many communities affected by the damage from Hurricane Harvey. Earlier today, our very own Michael Scott, Chief Executive Officer and Gordon Magdalena, Senior Vice President packed their Cessna aircraft with supplies at Valley Intl Airport in Harlingen, TX bound for Rockport, TX. The cargo will be given to hurricane victims and first responders in the area.
First Community Bank picked up the fuel tab and partnered with Sun Valley Aviation, who provided another fully loaded Cessna aircraft in the supply run. Harlingen Medical Center provided a hefty “care box” packed with first aid items and James & Melinda Hess with Johnny’s True Value provided deeply discounted chain saws and supplies.
Special thanks for Paul Chapman, USMC Retired, for organizing the trip and providing additional items.
