Today we are posting two cases of cracked teeth. Dr. Adela Agolli treated both patients. Tooth #31 diagnosed as Necrotic with Symptomatic Apical Periodontitis. When fractures lines do not extend into the pulpal floor then tooth is treated with a root canal and a crown. When tooth is vertically fractured as displayed with the case of tooth #13 then extraction and implant placement is recommended. Tooth Syndrome (CTS) has an excellent prognosis when treated with a root canal and a full-coverage crown. This combination stabilizes the tooth, prevents crack progression, and resolves symptoms like pain and sensitivity. Early diagnosis and treatment are crucial for success, especially if the crack doesn’t extend below the gum line.

2 year recall on this 15 year old patient!! Tooth #19 diagnosed as Necrotic with Symptomatic Apical Periodontitis. Case treated by Dr. Alkhalil in 2022. PARL had completely healed! Patient is asymptomatic and is scheduled to now get a crown on the tooth!

Patient presented yesterday as an emergency with severe pain on tooth #14. Tooth was diagnosed as Symptomatic Irreversible Pulpitis with Symptomatic Apical Periodontitis. “Cracked Tooth”. Root canal was performed by Dr. Adela Agolli who was able to fully anesthetize the patient and make the procedure comfortable for him. 27 mm roots present.
