🦷 Case Highlight: Tooth #5 — Maxillary First Premolar with a Third Canal treated by Dr. Adela Agolli.
Maxillary first premolars typically present with two canals; a third canal occurs in an estimated 0.5–6% of cases. Identifying this anatomy required careful CBCT interpretation and thorough exploration under magnification ( surgical microscope).
Undetected canals remain one of the leading causes of endodontic treatment failure. Patient will return for re-treatments of UR teeth.
