Getting ready for your child's first dentist appointment? Here's what we recommend:

🪥 Start talking about the dentist at home in a positive, age-appropriate way. Avoid using language that creates fear or emphasizes pain.

🪥 Look for dentist episodes of your child's favorite show. These can help your child feel familiar with what to expect.

🪥 Have your child practice opening their mouth wide for an exam. Explain the dentist will take a look at their mouth, and they can take breaks as needed.
