Dental accidents can happen at any time, even at school. We are available to help manage any type of oral injuries your child may face. Here are a few tips to keep in mind:

🏈 Sports - If your child participates in school sports, a mouthguard is very important in protecting their baby and permanent teeth
✏️ Supplies - Make sure you are stocked up on oral hygiene products such as extra toothbrushes and dental floss. Keep an extra pair in their backpack
🍎 School Absences - Schedule your child's dental appointments when school is out to prevent absences. Also, make sure your child sees the dentist twice a year to be proactive in their oral health routine.
🥪 Lunches - Discuss with your child healthy food choices at school for their balanced diet.

What to do if my child's tooth is knocked out?

BABY TOOTH:
- Contact us right away
- Rinse the mouth out with water and apply a cold compress to reduce swelling
- Quick action can reduce a child's discomfort and prevent infection

PERMANENT TOOTH:
- Find the tooth and place it in a glass of milk or back in the socket that it fell out of
