Transformation Tuesday!! Check out this initial, start and final. Below is a patient that came to us with a maxillary expander and four brackets on the four front teeth. This is common practice at other orthodontist offices but not ours. Orthodontic treatment is like building a house — you must first create the proper foundation before focusing on the finishing details. To do that we placed Dr. Williams’ Series 2000 appliances and then worked on building the smile. And as always- NO EXTRACTIONS OF PERMANENT TEETH.

TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY!! We have a remarkable case to share today! This patient showed up in our office and was literally gray in color because he was not getting enough oxygen. We immediately referred him out to ENT and the Doctor that did the surgery said it was the largest tonsils he had ever removed . Because this patient had been a mouth breather his jaw structure did not grow properly so we started with Dr. Williams own Series 2000 appliances. We worked on dual arch development along with braces to allow for even more oxygen to make it to the blood stream. We finished with our detailing aligners for one impressive result!

TRANSFORMATION THURSDAY!! This is a patient that presented with an excessive overjet and deep bite. They had a Class II bite with moderate lower arch crowding. We used our Max2000 and MSX2000 for maxillary expansion and lower arch form development along with braces. We finished the final detailing with our aligner trays. What a gorgeous finish!! NO EXTRACTIONS!!

TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY!! This patient presented with a constricted arch form, crowding and a deep impinging bite. We did an orthopedic correction by redeveloping the upper and lower arch form and advancing the mandible with the CS Class II springs developed by Dr. Williams. The patient came back in for a retainer check 3 years after completing treatment and with wearing her retainers nightly her expansion has been maintained and her smile still looks stunning! NO EXTRACTIONS OR SURGERY!!

TRANSFORMATION THURSDAY!! This patient presented with a canine Class III dentition with mid-face deficiency, anterior cross bite of the lateral incisors, ectopic maxillary canines, severe crowding- over 10 mm crowding on maxillary arch and over 9 mm crowding on mandibular arch. This would have easily been an extraction case at other orthodontic offices BUT NOT HERE!
