This case had a slightly longer treatment timeline than usual, but that extra time was intentional to ensure the longevity and success of the final result.
Around week 12, #9 was removed after we identified early crestal bone loss. Rather than rushing forward, we addressed the issue and adjusted the treatment plan. We were able to place a tilted implant at #10 angled above #14 position, engaging the dense bone of the confluence of piriform rim/maxillary sinus & reload the case that same day, helping set the foundation for long-term success.
