Dr. Thai earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine and completed an advanced Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics residency at Saint Louis University. Additionally, Dr. Thai is certified by the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), a credential held by only about 50% of orthodontists nationwide, demonstrating her adherence to the highest standards in her field. As a Top 1% Invisalign Diamond Provider, Dr. Thai is also an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Board of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and Columbus Dental Society. She remains engaged in continuing education to ensure the highest quality of orthodontic care for her patients. Dr. Thai’s high school journey began in Hilliard, Ohio, where she graduated as the top-ranked female in Hilliard Bradley High School’s inaugural class and made history by winning the school’s first state championship in doubles tennis. She continued her academic and athletic achievements at the University of Toledo, competing as a Division 1 collegiate tennis player and graduating magna cm laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Today, Dr. Thai fulfills her dream of serving her hometown through her orthodontic practice, with offices in Hilliard and Grove City. She proudly continues the tradition established by Dr. Dean Kiourtsis, who retired in 2024. As a business owner and community advocate, she supports local events, sponsors school programs and sports teams, and promotes the vitality of her community. In her free time, Dr. Thai enjoys wake surfing, scuba diving, skiing, and traveling, bringing her adventurous spirit into everything she does. Dr. Dean Kiourtsis has been setting the highest standards of excellence in orthodontics since 1992! He earned his Bachelor of Science degree, Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Certification in Advanced General Dentistry, Certification in Orthodontics and a Masters Degree of Science from The Ohio State University. After graduating, he joined his father, Dr. James D. Kiourtsis, who started the practice in Grove City in 1974. Dr. James Kiourtsis retired in 2000. Dr. Kiourtsis is an active member in many leading dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists and the Columbus Dental Society. Dr. Kiourtsis stays abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars. He attains more than double the hours required by the state dental board to continually improve his treatments. He has achieved the status of a Platinum Invisalign Provider. In his spare time, Dr. Kiourtsis enjoys the outdoors, skiing, camping, hiking, fishing, hunting and spending time with his wife, Mary Jo, and their children: Will, Deano and Zoe.
