🏗️ **A New Chapter Is Under Construction! 🦷✨**
For nearly **35+ years**, our dental office has been part of this community.
The practice originally began as **Gentle Dental Family Care**, and in **2018**, we proudly renamed it **Smiles by Gentle Dental** under new ownership of Dr. Nirmaldeep S Brar. Over the years, we have had the privilege of caring for generations of patients and families, building relationships that mean so much to us.
Now, after almost 35+ years in our current office, we are preparing for the next chapter.
Our **brand-new dental facility at 2628 45th Street, Highland, Indiana**, directly **across from Spring Ahead Children Academy**, is officially taking shape!
Getting to this point has certainly been an adventure. This year brought some truly historic weather to Northwest Indiana—heavy rains, severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, flooding, power outages, and several unexpected construction delays. But we made it through, construction is moving forward again, and with God’s grace, things are progressing well. 🙏
Our new facility is being designed with our patients, team, and growing community in mind. We are looking forward to offering:

👨👩👧👦 A welcoming environment for patients of all ages

We are sharing some photos of the **current construction progress**, along with a glimpse of **what we are working toward**. We hope you will enjoy watching the transformation with us as the building comes together over the next few months.
**Most importantly, we are still OPEN and seeing patients at our current Griffith location.** There are no changes to your appointments right now.
When the time comes, our goal is to make the transition from **Griffith to Highland as smooth and convenient as possible** for every patient. We will give everyone plenty of notice regarding our moving date, appointments, parking, and all other important details.
