Love this smile makeover for our lovely patient who wanted to enhance her smile for many years, and finally decided it was time! A lot of patchwork had been done over time with bonding which broke down. She also suffered from acid reflux and drank a lot of soda which contributed to enamel erosion and made her teeth appear more yellow. 10 upper and 10 lower porcelain veneers giving her a brighter, natural, more youthful smile ✨🙌🏻

A beautiful, brighter, natural smile transformation for our lovely patient with 10 porcelain veneers, addressing color and worn, chipped edges ✨. Notice the superficial craze (“crack”) line on the upper left central incisor (your right). This tells me that this tooth has endured excessive bite collisions over time due to the alignment and positioning of the teeth. A new bite contact was designed and engineered to avoid this and provide a more stable outcome. 🙌🏻

A beautiful smile transformation for this lovely patient, addressing worn misshapen teeth with aged composite bonding. 12 porcelain veneers were then done creating a brighter, more youthful smile. Invisalign was done initially to align the teeth for a healthier, more stable bite relationship. This sets the stage for minimal and conservative preparation of the enamel since they are in the correct position, and longevity of the porcelain to prevent chipping or debonding ✨

This before and after only shows the front six teeth (ten porcelain veneers were done). The black contrast background shows detail in the porcelain that make the teeth look more youthful and natural.
The teeth had become shorter after decades of wear and chipping, so we restored the original length our lovely patient wanted.
Texture and color gradient were incorporated into the porcelain as you see with the light reflected, giving a more natural appearance.
Also notice the midline between the two front teeth was canted or crooked, which we straightened.

A beautiful smile transformation and comprehensive case setup for our lovely patient with gum treatment followed by 10 porcelain veneers ✨. The teeth had a “trapezoidal” shape due to recession and defects in the gum margins, as well as flat edges and old composite fillings. These were due to years of grinding and restrictive bite patterns. Form follows function. Gum health was initially addressed and then a new bite pattern was engineered to improve bite mechanics and minimize excessive bite force in the front teeth 🙌🏻
