Celebrating a very special milestone for someone who has been such an important part of our Cherry Orchard family. 🤍

After 10 incredible years at our front desk, we’re celebrating the retirement of someone whose kindness, warmth, and dedication have touched countless patients, families, and coworkers along the way.

For a decade, she has been one of the familiar, welcoming faces that made our office feel like home. Her hard work, compassion, and genuine care will be missed more than words can say.

While we’re certainly sad to see her go, we’re even more excited for her to begin this next chapter — one filled with more time for the things and people she loves most.

Pineapple juice after oral surgery? 🍍 Let’s clear it up.

You’ve probably seen the viral advice to drink pineapple juice before wisdom teeth removal to reduce swelling. Here’s the truth:

🍍 It’s not the pineapple juice itself that may help—it’s bromelain, an enzyme found in pineapple.

The catch? Most pineapple juice contains much lower amounts of bromelain than the supplements used in research, so drinking juice isn’t likely to make a meaningful difference.

For the best chance at minimizing swelling after surgery, stick with what we know works:
🧊 Ice packs for the first 24–48 hours
💊 Ibuprofen (when it’s safe for you to take it and as directed by your surgeon)
😴 Rest and follow your post-op instructions

Social media is full of tips, but evidence-based care wins every time. Save this for your surgery prep! 👏
