Happy National Receptionists Day!

Today, we celebrate the heart of every practice, the friendly faces who greet us, guide us, and hold everything together behind the scenes.

However this year, today is especially meaningful for us.

After more than 56 years of extraordinary service, our beloved Nancy is retiring to care for her husband. It's difficult to fully express the magnitude of her contribution to our practice. Nancy began her career as chairside dental assistant to Dr. Preston Keith before stepping into the role of our treasured patient coordinator. For decades she was the first smile you’d see when you walked through the door, and the calming voice on the other end of the phone.

Nancy has been much more than a receptionist; she has been the lifeblood of this practice, a trusted confidante to patients and staff alike, and a cherished part of our work family. Her kindness, grace, and dedication have shaped generations of care and connection.

We will miss seeing her bright smile and hearing her sweet voice every day, but we send her off with love and gratitude as she begins this next chapter of life.

If you would like to send Nancy a note or card, we are collecting them here at the office and will happily pass them along to her.

Had a hip or knee replaced in the last 6 months? Check with your orthopedic surgeon to make sure it is safe to have dental work done! If it’s been less than 3 months since your surgery, you will likely need to reschedule your appointment unless it is an emergency. Depending on what you’re having done, antibiotic prophylaxis may be recommended for up to two years after your joint replacement to prevent infection.
