In honor of Pet Dental Health Month, please enjoy meeting some of Atlantis’s amazing pets!

Did you know, dental care is just as important for your furry pals as it is for you? In fact, good dental care has been correlated to dogs living many years longer than their counterparts! Vets ideally would like you to brush your dog’s teeth 2x a day and your cat’s a minimum of 3x a week!

Just remember, sealants help to seal out tooth decay! 🦷

Sealants are a protective coating that dentists put on back teeth (premolars and molars) to protect them from food particles, bacteria, and acids that cause cavities!

In some studies, sealants have been shown to reduce the risk of developing cavities by almost 80%

School-age children without sealants have almost 3x more cavities than children with sealants.

And getting sealants is a quick and painless procedure that can last up to 10 years!!

So we agree with this year's National Children's Dental Health Month theme: "Sealants Make Sense!"
