Our local friends should continue to support Federal Street Books. But please, be kind and mask up!

This is what you see, plain as day, as you open the door to our business. Our mask requirement is for our safety and the safety of our customers. We have given out hundreds of free masks. Through the past several years I have taken repeated abuse for this policy to the point of needing to call the police today due to threats and refusal to leave from someone who clearly does not do much reading. I will not debate this policy; I cannot teach anyone empathy or understanding for people who are disabled or at high risk. Respect our policy, care for others, or stay out. Many thanks to all who have been kind and supportive during these very challenging circumstances.

Bad News: Lauren left us 😭
Great News: She’s off to start a new adventure in TEXAS!!!
We are so grateful for the time she spent with us, but she’s ready to move on and will become a skilled hygienist.
You may be leaving us, but you’ll stay a part of our GDA tribe for life!
Texas is lucky to have you ✌🏼❤️🤠

Meet Matte!
Let us introduce our newest member of our team, Matte! Matte joined us in August, as a double package, as she is expecting her first baby this December!
With Matte’s knowledgeable background in healthcare administration, coupled with her welcoming nature, she’s been the ideal patient intake coordinator for Greenfield Dental Assoc.
Matte offers incredible patient experience because of the genuine way she loves getting to know people. You will meet Matte on your way into our office as she is the first team member greeting our patients. She will be taking your temperature and is always happy to assist with any paperwork or pre-screening you may need. She goes out of her way to make sure your appointment runs smoothly.
Matte is a free-spirit who loves to live life, have fun and experience new challenges. She has a magnetic quality that makes you instantly like her, which is why she has so many friends within her community. Expecting a baby girl soon, her hobbies include snacking, napping, watching Tiktoks, and taking several p*e breaks. And as an enthusiastic foodie she has been sampling ALL of the Buffalo chicken (👀Mesa Verde) and won’t turn down a Shirley temple. She’s also preparing her home and family, which include her boyfriend, Ryan and dog, Sadie, for their new addition.
