According to research shared by the American Dental Association, sparkling water affects your teeth about the same as regular water—so go ahead and sip away!

While it’s a great alternative to soda (less sugar, less acid = happy teeth 🦷), not all sparkling waters are created equal. Keep these tips in mind:

⚡ Skip the added sugar—some flavored varieties can sneak in extra sweetness, making them more like soda than water.
🍋 Watch out for citrus flavors—they tend to be more acidic, which can weaken enamel over time.

Overall? Sparkling water is a much better choice than sugary drinks, but be mindful of what’s in your can and drink in moderation!
