Happy Veterans Day, Tristate area! In honor of our veterans and how they served our country, my staff and I served them with smiles and dental work at no charge. Many of these veterans have done so much for this country and, unfortunately, are not offered any dental benefits through the VA. Our goal was to help close that gap one person at a time and help these amazing, selfless individuals. From cleanings to extractions to fillings — we did it all. The look of appreciation they had for us goes beyond any form of payment.
A special thanks to Chelsea, Brianna, and Kaitlyn from Franklin County Career and Technology Center, and Dr. Jolene from Shippensburg. You all made this day go smoothly by committing your time to help us serve even more veterans. To say I am proud of my staff — Kayla, Abby, Deb, Ann, Gigi, and James — for also giving up their day off to help out is an understatement. I am truly blessed with this team. Thank you to Dr. Kirk Zeger and his team for the goody bags. All in all, it was a special day, and many veterans left with tears of appreciation.
We are also currently working with National Dentex in Mechanicsburg to provide one veteran with a completely free treatment plan! More to come on that later. For now, enjoy some of these photos from the day. We will be doing this event every year on the Friday before Veterans Day!
