Every year, my team and I host a Veterans Day event at our office, providing free dental care to local veterans who do not have dental insurance. It's our small way of saying thank you to the men and women who have served our country.
In addition to providing free care, each year we select one veteran to receive a complete treatment plan at no cost. This year, we had the honor of helping Samuel, and yesterday we completed his treatment.
Sam proudly served six years in the U.S. Army, and his son is currently serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. Being able to give back to someone who has given so much was truly a privilege.
None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of National Dentex, who generously donated their time, expertise, and materials to help make this life-changing treatment possible.
Watching the genuine emotion from both Sam and my team reminded me why I chose this profession and why I'm so grateful to be a business owner. Moments like these keep the passion for helping others alive and remind us that even small acts of kindness can make a lasting impact.
Thank you, Sam, for your service and for allowing us to be a part of your journey.
And to all of our veterans—thank you for your sacrifice, your courage, and your dedication to making this country what it is today. We are forever grateful.
