Hello Great Neck and neighbors! We hope each of you are safe and well. For those that are experiencing a dental emergency and need us, we are operating on a limited schedule 1-2x/week. In efforts to continue to provide our community necessary dental care we are continuing our operations for regular AND EMERGENCY dental visits. To protect ourselves and our patients we do this with careful phone screenings and standard protective measures: disinfecting our waiting area, limiting appointments to one person per time slot with no waiting room contact and limiting our appointments to healthy patients only. If you need to be seen feel free to contact our office. Please be prepared to answer health history questions but if any symptoms are noticed we may deny the appointment depending on reason and dental need.

In honor of October being Dental Hygiene Awareness Month, here at Dental Korner we thought to share a few other ways of keeping those pearly whites clean. Many have heard of oil pulling which has been a technique used for thousands of years to help with dental hygiene. Another method that has created quite a buzz is charcoal tooth scrub. It is an organic approach to removing stains on teeth and the results are undeniable. Although, we still recommend using your traditional floss and toothbrush techniques.
