Drs. Klinker and Fairhust recently took a course on making 3D printed dentures. Hunter was willing to be our guinea pig. We also surprised him with a set of Halloween dentures. Can you tell which sets are 3D prints and which set is acrylic from a lab?

When we first met this patient his front teeth were severely worn. To correct this condition, you first have to move teeth into their proper position to prevent further wear. We often partner with Marshall Orthodontics to correct the position of the teeth. Dr Marshall worked with this patient and not only corrected the position of his front teeth, he also provide the proper room so we could make crowns for him. The first few photos are after braces were completed, the last photo is with his crowns completed. He now has a beautiful smile that will likely not wear in the future.

If you are looking to lighten the shade of your teeth you have several options. Over-the-counter options include whitening agents in your toothpaste or mouthwash or home whitening kits. Neither of these options will provide significant changes in tooth shade. To receive the best result, discuss whitening options with your dental professional. In our office we can make custom bleaching trays and provide you with prescription strength bleaching agents or we can provide same day whitening. Same day whitening is about an hour long and includes three to four treatments during that hour. Below are photos of a recent case we completed in-office, our patient was very pleased.
