We are excited to have Dr. Nguyen join our team and bring her passion for patient care, clinical excellence, and gentle approach to dentistry to our community.
Dr. Nguyen earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine and has nearly a decade of experience in the dental field. She is dedicated to helping patients of all ages achieve healthy, beautiful smiles through personalized, compassionate care. Her experience includes preventive dentistry, restorative treatment, crowns, bridges, dentures, root canal therapy, extractions, implant restorations, and orthodontics.

Congenitally Missing Lateral Incisors Smile Transformation

This case was a beautiful example of combining cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, and implant dentistry to create a natural, balanced smile.

The patient was born without the upper lateral incisors. Over time, the canine teeth erupted into the spaces where the lateral incisors normally belong, creating an uneven smile shape and tooth proportion. In addition, a retained primary canine was still present in the upper left canine position.

The goal was not simply to make the teeth “whiter,” but to redesign the smile in a way that looked natural, symmetrical, and appropriate for the patient’s facial features.

A customized treatment plan was completed using cosmetic veneers and crowns to reshape the teeth, improve proportions, and create the appearance of a complete, harmonious smile. The retained primary tooth was removed and replaced with a dental implant and a custom implant crown, allowing us to restore the missing canine position with a stable, long-term solution.

The final result is a brighter, more balanced smile with improved tooth shape, symmetry, and overall harmony — while still maintaining a natural appearance.
