Happening today in Grass Valley!

We are proud to partner with Partnership HealthPlan of California and welcome Alinea Medical Imaging to offer mobile mammogram screenings to our patients for this special women's health event. By bringing these services directly to our Grass Valley Health Center, we work to remove barriers and make it easier for our patients to access essential preventive care in a comfortable and supportive setting.

Early detection can save lives. If you are a woman aged 40 or older, talk to your provider about scheduling your annual mammogram. It is a step that can make a big difference.

Nara Organics is recalling its powdered infant formula after reports of three babies becoming sick with suspected or confirmed botulism after using the product.

🍼 What you should know:
Infant botulism is rare but serious. It can happen when babies take in harmful bacteria that affect their muscles and breathing.

⚠️ If your baby was given Nara Organics Whole Milk Organic Infant Formula, watch for these signs:
-Constipation
-Trouble feeding or weak feeding
-Weak cry
-Floppy or very weak body

If your baby has any of these symptoms, seek medical care right away.

We are here to support you. Please contact your Chapa-De care team if you have questions or need help.

Nara Organics is recalling all cans of its powdered infant formula after three confirmed or suspected infant botulism cases were reported in babies who consumed the product in California, Washington and Pennsylvania. There are no reported deaths.

The formula was sold at Target stores, target.com and nara.com between July 2025 and June 2026. The recalled product lots are: 709125280E14F2, 709125288E14F2 and 708125174E14F2.

Signs and symptoms of infant botulism include constipation, poor feeding, drooping eyelids, low muscle tone and difficulty sucking and swallowing.

The vast majority of baby formula is safe, and the recall affects a small percentage of families who rely on formula. Learn more in AAP News: https://publications.aap.org/aapnews/news/35349?autologincheck=redirected

Target is voluntarily recalling some of their Up & Up brand baby wipes due to potential contamination.

According to a Target announcement shared by the Food and Drug Administration, the company said it received complaints about the wipes getting discolored.

After testing by the FDA, some product samples contained the presence of Burkholderia cepacia complex and Burkholderia gladioli bacteria, naturally occurring bacteria that can cause illness in humans and pose a higher risk to children.
