One of my favorite parts of pediatric dentistry is helping parents understand what’s happening as their kiddo grows, whether it’s a brushing question, something they’ve noticed while their child sleeps or a change they weren’t sure was worth mentioning.

Brushing and flossing probably aren’t surprising, but mouth breathing might be. How your child breathes, sleeps and grows can tell us a lot, which is why we pay attention to more than just their teeth when they’re in our chair.
