We have offices in four convenient locations: GRANDVILLE (Mondays, Tuesday afternoon, Thursdays), HUDSONVILLE (Mondays, Wednesdays), ZEELAND (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays ) and ALLENDALE (Tuesday mornings), offering before and after school hours to fit your schedule. AAO Orlando… where to begin? Laughs were shared. Sun was soaked up. Food and drinks were enjoyed. Dance floors were utilized. Expos were explored. Rollercoasters were ridden. Mischief was managed. Oh, and we learned some ortho stuff too 😜

You learn a lot about people when you spend 72 hours straight with them. Turns out we have some pretty great people at KBO (oh wait, we already knew that). Grateful for our team and all the memories we made during this whirlwind weekend!

Last night I stepped out of my comfort zone and gave a CE lecture at the West Michigan New Dentist Forum! I’ve absolutely loved attending these lectures the past four years so it was an honor to be on the other side of the (figurative) podium to share some fun ortho stuff with local colleagues.

Thanks to everyone who came out (and thank you to the Wolverines for winning so I didn’t have to feel guilty for making everyone miss the first half 😉)

Wilson James Feltz made his arrival on December 7th. We are obsessed with him and can’t believe he’s ours. He already told me he wants to be an orthodontist when he grows up, and he’ll be running around the office before we know it. I’ll see you guys after my maternity leave - thank you to my dad for covering for me in the meantime!

Today we celebrated FORTY-SEVEN years of dedication and hard work from our lovely Diane! She has seen our practice through it all. In recent decades she has been our financial coordinator and insurance expert: a job that requires meticulousness, patience, integrity, and excellent communication skills. We have always been able to rely on Diane to help keep our office running.

It’s pretty rare these days to have someone stay in one company for this long and we are so honored that she chose to be a crucial part of our team year after year. Congratulations Diane on a well-earned retirement, full of many future adventures and time with family. We will miss you in the office but we are so happy for you and thankful for all the ways you’ve impacted our lives as well as those of our patients!

Introducing Dr. Jayne Kessel! �

Assisting in her father's orthodontic practice sparked Dr. Kessel's interest in the field. She shares, "Orthodontics really suited my strengths—scientific thinking, hands-on artistry, creative problem solving, an eye for detail, and meaningful daily interactions with people."�

Dr. Kessel completed her residency at the University of Iowa and achieved board certification in 2023. She reflects, "Delivering exceptional orthodontic care is important to me. Becoming ABO-Board Certified meant holding myself to a benchmark of excellence."
