The trumpet, clarinet, flute and saxophone all rely on constant lip and cheek pressure, so the first few weeks can feel slightly uncomfortable.

Fall practices are starting soon, if they haven't already.

Our orthodontist recommends replacing a mouth guard at the start of each sports season, or sooner if it shows signs of wear or does not fit correctly.

If you have braces or wear a retainer, a custom mouth guard matters even more. One rule worth repeating: never wear a retainer and a mouth guard at the same time unless we tell you otherwise.
