MOM still needs volunteers

This year’s MDA Foundation Mission of Mercy is coming up quickly — June 11-14 at Wings Stadium in Kalamazoo. Set up takes place Thursday, June 11, treatment days are June 12 and 13, with teardown on Sunday, June 14. Additional volunteers are still needed, including in the following categories:

Dentist (prosthodontics).
Dentist (restorative).
Dentist (triage).
Dental assistant (triage).
Patient ambassadors.

From Grand Rapids Griffins to everyone who had Dental Night hockey tickets for the canceled game on March 13th......

Brody Hoffman from the Griffins will be contacting each of you individually to discuss the options below:

We would like to sincerely apologize again for all the inconvenience regarding our Friday, March 13th game. Due to a power outage earlier in the week, it severely compromised the condition of the ice. After much deliberation between the Griffins & Admirals coaches, captains, on-ice officials, the AHL & the Red Wings, it was ultimately determined that the ice conditions were unsafe for play, and the decision was made to not proceed with the game.

Because of this, we wanted to send over what your options look like moving forward regarding your tickets from Friday night:

Option 1: We are working with the AHL to see if when we can reschedule a new game date with Milwaukee. While that date has yet to be determined, once they do have a new game date, your tickets will be automatically valid for the rescheduled game.

Option 2: If you’d rather, you are more than welcome to switch your tickets into one of our last regular season games (March 28th, April 10th, April 11th). Seating options may be limited, however we would do our best to try to give you similar seating options for your group.

Option 3: Because we already know we will be in playoffs this season, we would have no problem getting you tickets for any of our 1st round playoff dates. Dates are still TBD, but we would let you know ASAP once we are able to review the schedule.

Option 4: If none of the above options work for you and your group, we can go ahead and refund your tickets. Refund date deadline is Friday, March 20th at 3pm.

Any other additional questions – please let us know! Again, we appreciate your patience and want to reiterate how apologetic we are about any inconveniences this cancellation may have caused.
