Yes, Mom, we're talking about you. The original flossing instructor, the cavity patroller, the one who turned a mundane chore into a nightly bonding ritual (and sometimes, a test of patience).

Wowza!

In 2018, a dentist in Germany treated a 26-year-old patient with severe jaw pain and swelling. But the X-ray revealed something extraordinary — a tooth with an abnormally long root extending deep into the jaw.

When Dr. Max Lukas carefully extracted it, the dental team was stunned. The tooth measured an incredible 37.2 mm (1.46 inches) from crown to root, officially earning a Guinness World Records title for the longest human tooth ever extracted.

A rare reminder that even in dentistry, nature can still surprise us.
