🚂✨ Big things are coming our way(!), but it comes with some bittersweet news

The Stolley Park Railroad will be closed this summer while we build:

🚧 Smoother track
🌈 Two new LED tunnels
🌉 A brand-new bridge
🚸 Safer crossings
🌳 New sidewalks + picnic shelters
🐉 Future Dragon and Embankment Playgrounds

We know you’ll miss us, and we'll miss you too — but 2027 will be worth the wait. Follow along for updates throughout the summer!

All Aboard for a Big Thank You!

As the 2025 season comes to a close with this past weekend's Halloween Express, our Stolley Park Railroad crew wants to send a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this year one of our best yet!

From full trains on summer afternoons to an unforgettable Halloween Express, your support and smiles keep our wheels turning. We’re so grateful to our amazing volunteers, community partners, and local businesses who made this season special — including GISH Literacy Group, Runza, Holy Grounds Co. in Central City, Turtle Power Pizza, Dawgs on the Run, R&C’s Trick’r Boo Treats & Things 2.0 and more!

We also want to recognize our incredible team — Rich, Bryan, Brandon, Jessica, James, and Nikki — for their dedication, creativity, and commitment to keeping this Grand Island tradition running strong. From maintaining the train to welcoming guests at the Sweet Shoppe, their hard work shines through in every ride.

Thank you for another fantastic year at Stolley Park Railroad. We can’t wait to see you back on the tracks in 2026!

PRE SALES HAPPENING NOW TIL 8 TONIGHT AND STARTING AT 9 TOMORROW MORNING AT THE SWEET SHOPPE! WE WILL HAVE FOOD/COFFEE TRUCKS AND COUPLE LOCALS VENDORS OUT BOTH NIGHTS! 🎃🚂 Haunted Halloween Express is almost here! 🚂🎃

Get ready for a spooky good time at Stolley Park Railroad! The Haunted Halloween Express rolls in on October 17th from 6-10 PM & 18th from 5–10 PM, and you won’t want to miss the sights, sounds, and thrills of this eerie ride through the park.

👻 Presale Tickets Available! Skip the lines and grab your tickets early:

Today (Oct. 16): 4 PM – 8 PM

Tomorrow (Oct. 17): 9 AM – Noon

🎟️ Tickets are just $4.50 per ride for ages 3 and up. Available at the Sweet Tooth Shop.

🕸️ Ticket sales end at 9:30 PM each night of the event, so plan ahead!
