Dr. Garret Guthrie grew up in Wichita, Kansas where he first began taking an interest in dentistry. Dr. Guthrie moved to Kansas City to complete his Bachelor’s degree in chemistry at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). He also participated in the UMKC athletics program as a member of the soccer team where he served as captain his senior year. Dr. Guthrie received his Doctor of Dental Su
rgery degree from the UMKC School of Dentistry and has enjoyed being a member of the dental community ever since. Dr. Guthrie has a passion for providing dental services to the underserved. He provided care to patients at the Mission of Hope Clinic in Raytown and has participated as a provider in community outreach events with the Missouri Mission of Mercy. Additionally, Dr. Guthrie spends some of his weekends traveling to Missouri military bases to provide dental care to members of the armed services. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his wonderful daughters Gracyn and Hensley and beautiful wife Kendall, who he is sure you will see around the office from time to time. Kendall grew up in the small community of Odessa, MO where she also developed an interest in healthcare. As a pharmacist, Kendall shares a passion for service and helping improve community health. The Guthries are excited to be a part of the Grain Valley community and hope to be a valuable resource for you and your family.
