Jackie and Ben have been to Grafton with their son Hudson and amazing inspiring daughter Jordyn of the famous Jordyn's Summer Shirt Project. Their podcast is excellent. They share info about autism and in this episode they share info about 🦷🪥DENTAL CARE🦷🪥 . Give them a listen.

She’s got a lot of years left in dentistry but we couldn’t resist a little surprise celebration in honor of Terri Christinson’s 30th year as a Certified Dental Assistant.

This video is about several things and especially about being kind but Jordyn’s mom also talks about how hard it is to help people with disabilities have successful dental visits, and take care of their teeth. We especially appreciate her thoughts on verbal apraxia and a likely connection to cavities (makes so much sense!), and she also mentions our favorite electric toothbrush.

If you’ve been in our office, you may have met Charlie. He’s a student in the ASTEP program at Minot State this year. This short video features him and his mom talking about finding this program and Charlie’s first year as a student. Way to go Charlie.

A couple of the biggest compliments we receive are:
1) patients being so relaxed and comfortable they fall asleep 💤
2) patients who love the dental office so much, they make a career out of it! Please help us congratulate Taylor Ensrude, DDS who is a graduate of Grafton High School and Creighton University Dental School. She has started her career in Fargo Moorhead and you can find her at My Dental 13th Avenue.
Congratulations Dr. Taylor Ensrude

It's a fun day to work at Kern Family Dentistry when Choice Financial delivers snacks for Cinco de Mayo and Small Business Month. Thank you for thinking of us and making our day extra fun over here on the northern end of downtown Grafton!

Our office has been a part of the Adult Transition Program long enough to know ten students over the last few years.
We like being part of this program and encourage other offices and businesses to consider being a part of it too. Ask us about it!

💥Jobsite Spotlight💥
This week we are letting Kern Family Dentistry shine! They have provided a great alternative to the typical cleaning and stocking shelves duties for our ATP adults.
This year, our student fills toothbrush bags, shreds documents, empties garbages, assists with the cleaning of instruments, washes windows, and takes mail to the post office. And he does all of these things while learning to be a "fun-to-work-with" coworker!
This has been a great partnership and we look forward to continuing this site in the future!
Thank you Kern Family Dentistry for opening your office to this opportunity! We appreciate you!
