Not all fillings fail because they’re broken. Sometimes they fail because they’re leaking. 🦷

Over time, restorations can develop unsealed or open margins—tiny gaps where the filling no longer seals tightly against the tooth. These microscopic spaces allow bacteria to sneak underneath the restoration, where decay can develop unnoticed.

In this case, we replaced aging restorations with new bonded composite restorations that:
✨ Re-established a tight seal to help protect the tooth from recurrent decay
✨ Preserved healthy tooth structure
✨ Created a more natural, seamless appearance

A filling isn’t just about replacing what’s missing—it’s about creating a long-lasting seal that keeps bacteria out.

Every smile transformation is unique, which is why we create personalized treatment plans using the latest techniques and high-quality materials to achieve beautiful, lasting results at Gold River Smiles. ✨🦷

This incredible smile makeover included 22 aesthetic multilayered zirconia crowns and two dental implants to restore the back molars. It was a particularly challenging case due to the patient's Class III occlusion (underbite), requiring careful planning and precision to achieve both a functional bite and a natural-looking smile.
