We have never done a "meet the doctor" on this page! I think it is time for us to to introduce this community our doctors.
First up is the famous Dr Pam herself, the owner of Gold Canyon Dentistry:
Doctor Pamela McMahon was raised in Mesa, Arizona and is part of a large family which still resides in the area. She is the proud mother of an adult son, loving step-mother to five daughters, grandma of three, and loves her nieces and nephews.
She completed dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in 2000. Doctor McMahon spends numerous hours in continuing education including advanced training in aesthetics, Invisalign, orthodontics, implants, veneers, dentures, pediatric dentistry, and courses in practice management and technology. Dr. McMahon volunteers monthly with the Flying Samaritans, a non-profit organization that serves the remote communities of South Baja.
Dr. Pam has been involved in dentistry since the age of 14 as an office assistant. She has been a dental assistant, went to dental hygiene school, worked in the dental lab fabricating prosthetics, and has worked as a front-office manager. She has a passion for dentistry and is deeply rooted in the Gold Canyon area.

We are looking for an AWESOME dental assistant who will make our office more efficient and pleasant for patients. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for treatment ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
***MUST BE XRAY CERTIFIED***

We are looking for a rockstar Front Office Assistant for our state of the art practice to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the practice. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office tasks. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.

Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and every other Friday half day

Responsibilities

Greeting patients, updating paperwork
Schedule patient appointments
Verify Insurance and fill schedule accordingly
Answer phones
Follow up with referring office reports
***Must have dentrix experience and 1 year of dental experience***
