We celebrated another birthday this week…this time it was for our wonderful treatment coordinator Evita! She’s always ready to help others—whether it’s her teammates or our patients. We’re so grateful to have her on our team. Happy birthday, Evita! 🥳🩷

Last week, we celebrated the birthday of our newest team member, Melissa! Some of you may have already met her — she’s our wonderful new Scheduling Coordinator and the friendly voice you hear when you call our office.

Here are a few fun facts about Melissa:

1️⃣ She has watched the entire Friends series over 15 times (yes, all 10 seasons!).
2️⃣ Her favorite food is Mexican — she’s always up for a good burrito.
3️⃣ She is the tallest female member of her family… which works out perfectly because the rest of the Massih Ortho team is vertically challenged 😆

We’re so excited to have her on the team. If you see Melissa in the office, be sure to say hello and welcome her!

posted about this unfortunate viral case, and someone asked me if this could maybe be the “before” and the patient got braces to fix it. I don’t think that’s the case. This appears to be done by someone who is not an orthodontist or dental professional, or the patient could have disappeared on the orthodontist and this is the consequence. Think of orthodontics like a medical procedure wherein we move your teeth through your bones. It’s super important that you see a licensed orthodontist and that there is regular supervision by that orthodontist throughout the course of treatment. This case is really sad and they will likely lose their front teeth. 😔
