Changing the pich valves is easy!

As shown by Dr. Brandon Walker. That fireball is hilarious (perfect timing Sir), I thought the same thing, the first time I changed pinch valves😂 Nothing to worry about, I assure you 👍

Free Lecture: How I Choose My Prep Design — Workflow and Cases by .alleman.dds and

Thursday, May 7
6:30 pm MDT (UTC-6)
CE Hours: 1 Lecture Hour

“How do you bond to flat preps?” This is a common question we hear, and you’ll learn the answer in this free webinar by .alleman.dds and

Adhesive dentistry offers practitioners greater flexibility in prep design, as long as you can trust your adhesion enough to no longer need retention form. Each pathology-driven prep design may look unique, but, like all Alleman Center programs, you will learn a framework of guidelines to follow for the best long-term results.

Attendees will learn:

Natural tooth structure function and what is lost in traditional restorations.

How to identify tooth structure that is critical to natural function and how to preserve that in pathology-driven prep design.

Considerations for prep design and enamel replacement to ensure long-lasting bonds and no post-operative sensitivity.

This is a really cool graphic of the before and after effects of Air Abrasion! (The surface looks so much more bondable after Air Abrasion!)

"Sandblasting (air particle abrasion) removes some things you don't want in your prep and helps you see other things you may need to address in your prep. Also it helps make your preps smooth and "thirsty" for the adhesive and composite to adapt to.

I love sandblasting after I think I have removed all old composite or amalgam because it helps me see little pieces that are left behind and need to be removed. All the extracted teeth in this pic were sandblasted with 50 micron alumina at 2 bar pressure. I will share some pics in the story about the sandblasting equipment that we have.

Coming up next, another little trick for visualizing cracks. And then fibers. Stay tuned"...

Great dental photography! 📸
Reposted from

I am back! The demands of my professional and personal life in the last quarter of 2024 have prevented me from sharing my cases. But I’ll do my best to catch up this year and share with you my passion for dentistry.

Here’s a case of a 20 year old young patient with very large amalgam filling on tooth no 17 which become necrotic and ended with root canal treatment. The decay was extensive which extended bucally. I’m glad I was able to isolate the tooth well with brinker clamp. After Endodontic procedure, the tooth was restored with ribbond fibers held in place with Clearfil SE and Clearfil APX composite and EMAX cad designed and milled by . RCT was done by

Additionally, I would like to share some photographs from my busy last quarter, which included our Aide Batch 3 course, my travels to Eastern Europe where I had the privilege to meet my Instagram idol , and various highlights from the holiday season.

Wishing everyone a happy Chinese New Year. May 2025 be a good year and may we all continue to serve our patients and preserve their dental health!
