Here’s a quick look at how we treat white spots on the teeth.
White spots can happen for
a number of reasons.
Some people may naturally have them because of changes that occurred while their teeth were developing, such as enamel hypoplasia or fluorosis.
They can also develop after orthodontic treatment, when plaque and bacteria collect around the brackets and lead to mineral loss in the enamel.
This is a very conservative treatment. There’s no drilling, no shaving of the teeth, and no numbing involved.
It’s a minimally invasive treatment that can make a beautiful difference while preserving your natural tooth structure.
