New Diagnostic Service Now Available!!
We are excited to offer our patients a new diagnostic tool as part of our comprehensive exam! Salivary testing detects high-risk oral bacteria associated with bone loss, tooth loss, implant failure, and systemic inflammation. This test allows us to intervene early with conservative treatment, instead of waiting for signs and symptoms. We can complete the test during your next visit. It's simple, quick, and painless. We collect a small amount of your saliva in a tube, and ship it to the lab for analysis. We generally receive the results within 4-5 days. Once we have the results, we make plan for any necessary interventions, and will call you to review the results with you.
Our goal for all of our patients is a healthy mouth in a healthy body; and we are grateful to have another tool to help achieve that goal.
