We want to advise our patients of the many upgrades to our already stringent sterilization policies which we are including due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
All individuals entering our office must be wearing a face covering or they will be removed from the office.
As soon as a patient presents into the waiting area one of our staff takes their temperature with an infrared thermometer. If the patient has a temperature of 37.7 digress Celcious or 99.86 degrees Fahrenheit they are immediately advised that they must leave the office and will not be seen until a physician gives them medical clearance to have treatment. We have purchased air purifiers to clean the air of any contaminants which may be in the air. At the end of the day we sterilize all of the dental operatories with UV lights. The operatories are not used for at least 12 hours after the UV light sterilization procedure. We have also purchased an over the patient suction unit to be used when treating a patient who may have aerosols coming out of their mouth during treatment using the high speed headpiece or the ultrasonic cavitron unit. This machine will prevent splatter from going from the patients mouth onto surfaces which are adjacent to where the patient is being treated.
We are limiting the number of patients sitting in our waiting area at this time. If a patient feels anxious about sitting in the waiting room with other patients please call the office when you arrive and we will let you know the status of the waiting room. If a patient would prefer to wait in their car while the patient prior to them is being treated we will call you when it is your turn to come in.
As more facts come in concerning measures which need to be taken to help keep our office safe, we will upgrade the office and let you know.

To All Our Patients & Colleagues:

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the global outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19). We are monitoring the situation closely and responding to the rapid changes every day, because the safety and well-being of our patients and associates remains our top priority.

We are taking the necessary steps to ensure we prevent exposure and maintain the health and safety of our patients and staff.
• Intensified implementation of strict hygiene protocols
• Constant cleaning and disinfection of frequently touched objects and surfaces
• Any patient who exhibits signs of COVID-19 infection is not treated in our office

We recommend following the steps below to avoid your own personal exposure to the virus:
• Cover your cough or sneeze with a bent elbow or tissue, then dispose of the tissue immediately
• Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
• Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water aren’t available
• Maintain social distancing
• Avoid close contact with people who are sick
• Stay home when you are sick

As the situation evolves, we want you to know that we’re working hard to minimize any disruptions in our practice so that we can continue to operate safely and effectively. At this time, our office is open and will remain so for as long as possible. We will continue to monitor the situation and post updates as needed.
