Retainer Care 101:

First things first: please rinse your retainer every time you remove it form your mouth. This removes all the saliva daily and keeps any build-up to a minimum. Once a week, try to do an in-depth cleaning. Most of all, if you have a retainer, you have to wear it daily for as long as your dentist recommends.

Dentist Day is celebrated on March 6 every year. As much as almost every person as a child was not fond of visiting the dentist, we can not deny that dentists relieve us of troublesome aches and contribute to our dental health and hygiene. Dentist Day is dedicated to dentists for their contributions to the betterment of our society while raising awareness about oral hygiene.

Dental Assistant Week, held every first full week in March, is a special time to appreciate those amazing professionals who have helped you maintain healthy teeth.

Their responsibilities include helping patients improve their oral hygiene skills, preparing patients for dental procedures, taking dental impressions, exposing dental radiographs, infection control, recording patient notes, and scheduling appointments.
