What a great first week! 🦷💙

We wrapped up Dr. Anvita Rastogi’s first week at O-G Family & General Dentistry with a team lunch… and we had a lot to celebrate!

We truly couldn’t be happier to have Dr. Rastogi as part of our O-G family. From day one, she has fit right in with our team, and it has been so much fun getting to know her and working alongside her this week. Her warm personality, positive energy, and genuine care for our patients have already made her such a wonderful addition to the office.

It has also been great seeing Dr. Nigro and Dr. Rastogi working together throughout the week …collaborating, sharing ideas, and caring for our patients as a team. We are so excited about what having the two of them working together means for our patients and for the future of our practice! ❤️

Of course, Dr. Rastogi’s first week wasn’t the only reason to celebrate! We also celebrated two of our August birthday girls, Kim and Brooke! 🥳🎂

And apparently no birthday lunch is complete without a little “birthday whipped cream surprise.” 😂😂 We’re not sure who enjoyed that part more …Kim and Brooke or the rest of us watching it happen! 🤣

A great lunch, lots of laughs, and the perfect way to end a really special first week.

If you’ve had the pleasure of spending time with Brooke, you already know what a special person she is! She is incredibly sweet, easygoing, and always so positive!

And on top of all of that, she is spectacular at what she does! We are so fortunate to have such a talented and caring hygienist as part of our O-G team.

We have been overwhelmed by the incredible kindness and warm welcome you’ve shown Dr. Anvita Rastogi since Dr. Nigro shared the exciting news that she will be joining our practice. Your thoughtful comments and messages have meant so much to all of us!!

One of the things that makes our community so special is the way you welcome people with open arms, and we know Dr. Rastogi already feels the love!!💕

Many of you have asked to learn a little more about her, so we thought we’d let Dr. Rastogi introduce herself in her own words.

Hello! My name is Dr. Anvita Rastogi, and I am so excited to be joining the O-G Family & General Dentistry team!

I graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2013. Following dental school, I began my career at a Community Health Center in Lima, serving Allen County and the surrounding communities. During that time, I discovered my passion for small-town, comprehensive dentistry and the meaningful relationships that come from caring for families over many years.

Over the past 13 years, I have gained experience in restorative dentistry, oral surgery, root canal therapy, removable prosthetics, and emergency dental treatment. I am committed to lifelong learning through continuing education and am proud to be a member of both the Ohio Dental Association and the American Dental Association.

Above all, I believe every patient deserves to be treated with kindness, respect, and compassion—the same care I would want for my own family.

Outside of the office, my husband is a nephrologist at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, and we are the proud parents of two wonderful boys, ages 8 and 12. As a family, we enjoy spending time together, and I love cooking, trying new recipes, and gardening.

I truly look forward to meeting each of you and becoming part of this wonderful community. Thank you for such a warm welcome—I can’t wait to see you soon!

From Dr. Nigro: One of the greatest privileges of my career has been caring for generations of families in our community. As our practice continues to grow, I knew it was time to find the right dentist to join our team so we can continue providing the personalized care you've always received while expanding appointment availability for both new and existing patients.

I am excited to introduce Dr. Anvita Rastogi who will officially join O-G Family & General Dentistry on August 10th!

Finding the right associate wasn't something I took lightly. I met with many talented dentists over the past several months because it was incredibly important to me to find someone who would care for my patients with the same compassion, honesty, and commitment to excellence that have always been the foundation of our practice.

With 13 years of dental experience, Dr. Rastogi was the perfect fit. She is warm, compassionate, family-oriented, and truly enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients. She shares the same patient-first philosophy that has always been so important to me, and I have complete confidence that she will provide the exceptional care you've come to expect from our office.

Today, Dr. Rastogi spent the day getting to know our amazing team, and it made me even more excited about what's ahead. I know she's going to be a wonderful addition to our dental family!!

💙 A very special patient visited us this week! 💙

Our wonderful hygienist, Laurie, had the joy of welcoming a very familiar face into her chair…her 3 year old granddaughter, Eloise, for her very first dental visit!

Eloise was all smiles, full of stories, and did an amazing job!

Dr. Nigro couldn’t stop talking about what a great patient she was (and just how chatty she is! 😊). He said he can’t wait to see her again at her next visit!

There’s something incredibly special about caring for generations of the same family!💙
