Dr. Tempel checked something important off her list today. 🩷

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Dr. Tempel is practicing what she preaches when it comes to preventive care and taking care of your health—making time for her mammogram. Life gets busy. Appointments get pushed off. But some appointments are too important to keep putting at the bottom of the list.

A big Thank You to the wonderful mammography professionals who make these screenings a little easier. 💕

Restoring a smile can help change a life. 💙

Dr. Rita Tempel is proud to volunteer her dental services through Give Back a Smile, a program of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Charitable Foundation that connects adult survivors of domestic and sexual violence who have suffered dental injuries with volunteer cosmetic dentists.

Dr. Tempel is currently helping restore the smile of a Give Back a Smile recipient—donating her time and dental care to help someone move forward with renewed confidence.

If you or someone you know has suffered dental injuries as a result of intimate partner or sexual violence, Give Back a Smile may be able to help. Eligibility requirements apply, and applicants are screened and matched with participating volunteer dentists.
